New Delhi: The parents of murdered British teenager Hannah Foster are in India.

Trevor and Hillary Foster sought the Prime Minister and the President's intervention to speed up the extradition of the prime suspect Maninder Pal Singh Kohli.

17-year-old Hannah Foster was allegedly abducted, raped and killed after a nightout with friends at Southampton in 2003.

A Southampton court issued an arrest warrant against Kohli in 2003 and faxed it to the Indian authorities.

In 2004, Kohli, a resident of Southampton and a father of two was arrested in West Bengal.

"All we want is that the process is carried out smoothly and within a specific time frame," say her parents.
