Isha Koppikar and her husband, restaurateur Timmy Narang, who have been married for almost 14 years, have officially parted ways with each other. The actress has also moved out of their residence with their 9-year-old daughter, Rianna. Timmy recently confirmed the same to a news portal.
While speaking to ETimes, Isha’s ex-husband Timmy opened up about their divorce. He shared that they had been contemplating divorce for a year and a half before taking the call to file it. “The divorce was granted in November last year, and it was on amicable terms. Both of us are now free to move on with our lives, which is a fact. So, I don’t see why there should be any confusion regarding that. While I haven’t read the latest report, considering the legal option isn’t even an option because the divorce has already come through, it’s as simple as that.”
The businessman also shared that the actress moved out of his residence with their daughter. Isha Koppikar and Timmy Narang’s love story started when they met each other through common friends. Gradually, their love blossomed, and they decided to get married in 2009. They have now parted ways after 14 years.
Earlier, an anonymous source informed the portal, “The couple parted ways due to compatibility issues, which cropped up a while ago. They tried every bit to save the marriage but didn’t succeed. So now Isha has left the house and is living separately with her daughter.”
Isha has shown her acting skills in Hindi films as well as in South Indian and Marathi films. She has been a part of some of the most popular films, like Don, 36 China Town, and Krishna Cottage. She was last seen in the Tamil film Ayalaan. In the year 2019, Isha decided to enter politics. She has joined the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) and is currently working as the BJP President in the Women Transport Wing.
