Maharashtra Women and Child Welfare Minister Pankaja Munde says she was the target of a political conspiracy

A defiant Pankaja Munde returned to Mumbai telling her supporters that she was the target of a political controversy. Munde is faced with fresh allegations of showing undue favours in awarding a contract to built check dams under the Jalyukta Shivaar Abhiyaan to a contractor who was disqualified on a technicality.When she was in London, she came under the cloud of allegation of clearing contract worth Rs 206 crore for purchase of a host of items under the Integrated Child Development Scheme.
