New Delhi: The only thing that probably the 27th edition of Amazon India Fashion Week is lacking till now is its numbers of Bollywood show stoppers. While Shriya Saran walked the ramp for Kanika Saluja's Annaika, no other star turned up until Friday.
Setting the ramp ablaze for designer Shruti Sancheti's collection 'Constantinople' was none other than the delightful Aditi Rao Hydari. With every ounce of innocence and grace, she dazzled on the ramp. Wearing a denim crop-top which had floral highlights and an easy-to-go high waist skirt; the actresses looked stunning amidst the models exhibiting Shruti's collection.
'Constantinople' which was inspired from Istanbul - presented striking patterns that included geometry mosaics, rustic clamp dying and fluid paisleys. What was interesting was that it was one of the most wearable collections to be presented on day 3.
Out of many fabrics used the collection, the dominant ones were Karnataka silk, chanderi, chambray paired up with denims to give it a modern touch. From burnt orange to teal; this once collection definitely had a rich colour palette!
Aditi, who was really 'loves walking on the ramps' felt that the designer's stuff was just the perfect kind that people look out for in today's time. Having deep admiration for Istanbul and Turkey for the places that they are, the actress couldn't stop talking about how comfortable her outfit was and about how much she loved the contemporary silhouettes.
