Alia Bhatt has been a busy bee juggling between multiple shoots and projects. The actress recently wrapped shooting of her highly anticipated film Jigra, post which she was spotted returning back to bay. This morning, the actress was spotted at the airport. Alia kept it comfy in an all black ensemble as the shutterbugs captured her.
The Dear Zindagi actress donned a black jacket which she teamed with a pair of black pants and shades. She accessorised her look with a black bag, and kept her short hair open. The actress walked smartly across the terminal and waved at the paparazzi before sitting inside her car.

On Thursday, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram handle and shared some candid pictures post Jigra wrap, also featuring her co-star Vedang Raina. In the snaps, the duo can be seen laughing and posing together with the cityscape and riverfront in the backdrop, during the din of dusk. In another picture, Vedang Raina can also be seen hiding his face. Alia Bhatt penned the caption, “jigra oh… abki teri baari ho @vedangraina & that’s a film wrap on #JIGRA @vasanbala @swapsagram See you soon… 27th September 2024 at a cinema near you ♥️.”
In Jigra. Alia is not just playing the lead but also producing it. In a previous interview, Alia opened up about venturing into production and shared that it is ‘exciting and overwhelming’ at the same time.
“I believe stories are everywhere, and stories are everything! I turned producer with Eternal Sunshine to tell some of these stories, ones that evoke emotions and leave an impact. Our first production, Darlings, got so much love that it was exciting and overwhelming at the same time,” Alia said as quoted by Film Companion.
The 30-year-old actress further talked about Jigra and opened up about its plot. She revealed that the film is a story of ‘courage, passion and determination’. “Just a little over a year later, we are ready to launch our second production – Jigra, a beautiful story of courage, passion and determination. I hope to consistently support compelling narratives that are authentic, and enduringly timeless and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them alive,” Alia added.
Jigra is directed by Vasan Bala and is produced by Karan Johar. The film is all set to release on 27th September 2024.
