KOCHI: With the tanker lorry strike called off, LPG movement from the Indian Oil Corporation plant at Udayamperoor resumed on Thursday.By 4 pm three bulk loads from the Kochi Refinery reached the plant, and bottling operations began. “Filling of LPG began by afternoon. However, it will take some time for the filling operations to be normal. By Friday, LPG movement from across central Kerala will be as usual,” sources said.As many as 40 bulk loads from Mangalore have left for the IOC plant in Udayamperoor. “Till Thursday 8 pm, no bulk load has come from Mangalore. However they have started from there. As of now, six trucks have left the plant with LPG cylinders,” sources said.There was huge shortage of LPG in seven districts in the state following closing down of the IOC plant at Udayamperoor in the wake of the tanker lorry strike.
