THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the wake of Vaiko-led MDMK along with other political outfits deciding to block vehicles moving to Kerala through all the 13 roads that connect Kerala and Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, a special joint meeting of top-level police officials from Kerala and TN held at Neyyattinkara Rest House decided to take stringent actions against those indulging in violence at Kaliyikkavila. Thiruvananthapuram Rural SP A Akbar said that the meeting had decided to take action against the miscreants who take law into their hands and disrupt normal life.  “The meeting reached a consensus that no one who will take law into their hands would be spared by the police. Also, to ensure the smooth traffic flow in the border area of Kaliyikkavilla, alternative routes were discussed and an action plan was finalised,” he said.
