While initially Timothee avoided the line of questions, later he chose to clear the air on the controversy.

Timothee Chalamet shared that there was no rift between Selena and Kylie and added, “we’re all good.” He also mentioned that he and Selena were on good terms thereby shutting down any further speculation.

Earlier, addressing the controversy, a source close to Selena Gomez told People, “She was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie,” The source also added that Selena did not meet or speak to Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globes night.

Selena has herself given a clarification about what she was discussing with Taylor Swift in the viral video, and it has nothing to do with Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. Selena commented on an Instagram post that read, “Was Selena Gomez gossiping about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet at the Golden Globes? Here’s the truth.” She shared, “I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s anyone’s business.”

Meanwhile, all eyes were on Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner at the 81st Golden Globe Awards, as the pair made a rare public appearance together. The duo looked stunning in identical black attire as they attended the award season. The couple’s surprise PDA, when they arrived hand in hand and sat together, stole the show at the awards event.
